Pre-Order Terms & Conditions

Thank you for shopping with The Perfume Directory. By placing a pre-order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

What is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order allows you to purchase an item before it is available for immediate dispatch. Your order is confirmed and payment is collected at the time of purchase. Your item will be dispatched as soon as it becomes available.

Estimated Delivery Times

Pre-order items have an estimated delivery window of 1–4 weeks from the date of your order. This timeline is an estimate and may be subject to change due to supplier availability, customs clearance, or shipping carrier delays. We will notify you by email if there are any significant changes to your expected delivery date.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of placing your pre-order. Your payment will be processed immediately upon checkout.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your pre-order is successfully placed. A second notification will be sent when your order has been dispatched, along with tracking information where available.

Cancellations

Once a pre-order has been placed, cancellations are not accepted during the 1–4 week waiting period. We are unable to make exceptions to this policy as orders are processed and allocated immediately.

Refunds & Timeline Lapse Policy

If your pre-order has not been fulfilled within 4 weeks of your order date, you are entitled to a full refund. In this case, your order will be automatically cancelled and a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

In the rare event that stock cannot be fulfilled for any reason, a full refund will be issued and you will be notified promptly.

Exchanges

Pre-order items are not eligible for exchange prior to dispatch. Once your item has been delivered, our standard returns and exchange policy applies.
