You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. The Perfume Directory LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that appears to be used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.

We use Shopify’s secure infrastructure and integrated payment systems to help protect your personal and payment information. However, you acknowledge that no system is entirely immune from risk, and you use the Services at your own discretion.

Customers may also place pre-orders for select products. Payment for pre-orders is collected in advance, and fulfillment timelines may vary; some pre-orders can take up to or exceed 14 days depending on supplier availability or shipping conditions. Estimated delivery dates are provided as a guide only and are subject to change. 



SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS

The Perfume Directory LLC is committed to offering only 100% authentic and original fragrances, sourced directly from authorized distributors, official retailers, and trusted suppliers.

Our product listings include clear condition indicators to help customers understand exactly what they are purchasing:

  • BNIB (Brand New in Box): Factory-sealed and unused products in their original packaging.

  • No Box: Authentic fragrance bottles that do not include the original retail box or cap, typically sourced from bulk inventory or damaged packaging lots.

  • Tester: Authentic fragrance bottles produced by the brand for display or sampling purposes; may come without retail packaging or caps but contain the full original fragrance.

  • Pre-Order: Products available only by advance order. Payment is collected upfront, and fulfillment may take up to or occasionally exceed 14 days, depending on supplier or shipping conditions.

We make every effort to accurately describe and display our products online. However, please note that color, packaging design, labeling, or presentation may vary slightly from images shown due to manufacturer changes, lighting, or display settings.

Fragrance performance may vary from person to person due to multiple factors including, but not limited to, skin chemistry, environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, climate), storage method, and batch variations. Longevity, projection, and scent development are subjective and may differ from user expectations or online reviews.

All product descriptions, images, and details are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue or limit the availability of any product at our sole discretion. 



SECTION 3 - ORDERS

When you place an order through our online store, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s) under these Terms of Service. The Perfume Directory LLC reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its sole discretion. Your order is considered accepted only once payment has been processed and you receive an order confirmation email.

Please review your order carefully before submitting. Cancellations are generally not accepted once an order has been placed and payment confirmed. However, if you need to make a change or cancel an order shortly after purchase, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@perfumedirectory.us, and we will do our best to assist where feasible.

All sales are considered final due to the nature of fragrances and hygiene standards. Refunds or exchanges are not guaranteed but may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of delivery. Any approved return must be in the same condition as received—unopened, unused, and in original packaging (including any box, cap, or seal). Depending on the situation, restocking or processing fees may apply.

Pre-order items require full payment at the time of purchase. Estimated delivery timelines are provided as a guide only and may be extended due to supplier or logistics factors beyond our control.

All purchases are intended for personal or gifting use only and are not authorized for commercial resale, wholesale distribution, or export without prior written approval from The Perfume Directory LLC.

 

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING

All prices listed on our website are in U.S. dollars and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of applicable sales taxes. Shipping, handling, and other fees (if any) will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice as product availability and market conditions fluctuate. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be confirmed in your order email.

We currently accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Cash App, with additional payment options available as we expand. Certain third-party payment providers, including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services such as Affirm, Afterpay, or Klarna, may include additional processing or service charges. Any such fees will be displayed at checkout before payment is finalized.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information and to promptly update your details, including email address and payment method, so that we can process transactions and contact you as necessary.

We may introduce discount codes and a loyalty-points program in the future; such promotional offers will be subject to separate terms and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

 

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Orders are typically processed and shipped within three (3) to five (5) business days after payment has been confirmed. Processing times may vary during holidays, sales events, or in cases where items are on pre-order.

The Perfume Directory LLC primarily ships via UPS within the United States. USPS may be used as an alternative carrier when necessary, and FedEx may be added as an option in the future.

We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders above $75 (after discounts and before taxes). For orders below this amount, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location and selected delivery method.

Delivery times provided at checkout are estimates only and not guaranteed. The Perfume Directory LLC is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, customs inspections, or other delivery interruptions caused by third-party carriers or events beyond our control.

Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, the title and risk of loss pass to you. However, if you experience delivery issues or damage in transit, please contact us at orders@perfumedirectory.us within a reasonable time frame, and we will do our best to support and assist you in resolving the matter. 

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content and materials made available through The Perfume Directory LLC’s website and related services—including but not limited to our business name, logos, product descriptions, written content, images, videos, page design, and overall website layout—are the property of The Perfume Directory LLC or its authorized licensors and are protected by applicable U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Actual packaging or product appearance may vary slightly depending on batch or condition (e.g., BNIB, No Box, or Tester).

As we continue developing our brand, we may introduce original imagery, videos, and other creative content produced by our team or independent creators under contract. All such content will remain the property of The Perfume Directory LLC unless otherwise stated in writing.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publish, or reuse any of our website content—including photos, videos, or written descriptions—without our prior written permission. Any unauthorized use may constitute infringement under applicable law.

The Perfume Directory LLC’s name, logo, and related designs are proprietary identifiers of our brand. You may not use them in any advertising, promotion, or other public manner without prior authorization

The Perfume Directory LLC is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with The Perfume Directory LLC. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and The Perfume Directory LLC, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with The Perfume Directory LLC.

The following sections will continue to apply after any termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver; Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy Policy, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.

The Perfume Directory LLC is a reseller of authentic fragrances and related products. We do not manufacture or alter any of the items offered for sale and therefore do not provide any express or implied warranties regarding product performance, quality, or longevity. Any warranties that may exist belong solely to the original manufacturer.

All products and Services provided by The Perfume Directory LLC are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any representations, guarantees, or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, or non-infringement.

Fragrance performance, scent longevity, and overall experience can vary significantly depending on factors such as skin chemistry, climate, storage, and batch variations. These differences are normal and not considered product defects.

We make every effort to ensure accurate product descriptions and representations. However, should you encounter an issue or believe that a product is defective or not as described, please contact us at orders@perfumedirectory.us. We will review each concern on a case-by-case basis to determine the best resolution possible.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so certain parts of this section may not apply to you.

  • Differences in packaging, labeling, or product appearance;

  • Shipping delays, carrier handling, or customs inspections;

  • Third-party applications, integrations, or payment platforms; or

  • Any other claim connected with your use of our Services or the products sold through them.

In no case shall the total liability of The Perfume Directory LLC exceed the actual amount paid by you for the specific order or product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so portions of this limitation may not apply to you.

You and The Perfume Directory LLC agree that any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Houston, Texas, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
