Refund policy
The Perfume Directory LLC - we want you to love your purchase. Due to the nature of fragrances and quality standards, all sales are considered final. However, we will review eligible requests on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility (within 14 days of delivery)
To be considered for a return or exchange review, the item must be:

Unopened, unused, and in the same condition received, with all original packaging and components (e.g., box, cap, seals, cellophane).

BNIB (Brand New in Box): factory-sealed only. Breaking the seal voids eligibility.

No Box / Tester: must be returned exactly as shipped (these items are more limited and are generally final sale unless we made a mistake).

Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Important: Fragrance performance (longevity, projection, scent development) varies by skin chemistry, climate, storage, and batch and is not a defect.
Non-returnable items

Opened, sprayed, or used fragrances

Items missing components (caps, boxes, wraps)

Sale items, gift cards, and samples/decants (if offered)

Pre-orders once the order has been placed with our supplier, except if we cannot fulfill
Damages & issues on arrival
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is damaged, leaking, or incorrect, email orders@perfumedirectory.us within 48 hours of delivery with:

Photos of the shipping box, shipping label, inner packaging, and the product (all sides)

A brief description of the issue
We’ll evaluate and make it right (replacement, credit, or refund, at our discretion).
Lost, delayed, or stolen packages
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Once a package is released to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to the customer. If a package is marked delivered but missing, or delayed beyond estimate, email us—we’ll help you file a carrier claim and support where possible. Refunds for carrier issues are not guaranteed and depend on the carrier’s determination.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are paid in advance. Fulfillment may take up to or occasionally exceed 14 days depending on supplier and logistics. Pre-orders are final once placed with our supplier; cancellations may not be possible. If we cannot fulfill, you’ll receive a full refund.
How to request a return review

Email orders@perfumedirectory.us within 14 days of delivery.

Wait for our reply with RMA instructions (returns sent without approval will be refused).

Return the item using the provided label or a trackable method we approve.

Unless we made an error, return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Items must arrive in the same condition you received them, securely packed.

Refunds (if approved)

After we receive and inspect the item, we’ll notify you of approval or denial.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days (your bank/issuer may take longer to post).

If you received free shipping and a refund is approved, we may deduct the original shipping cost we incurred.

Third-party payment/BNPL fees (e.g., Affirm/Afterpay/Klarna) may be non-refundable if charged to us and will be deducted when applicable.

Restocking/processing fees may apply for discretionary returns (typically up to 10–15% depending on condition and re-packaging needs).
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval and you haven’t seen the credit, please contact us at orders@perfumedirectory.us.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a different item is to place a new order and then request a review for your original item as above. In some cases, we can offer a direct exchange—email us to discuss options.
Where to send returns
Return shipments are accepted by approval only. We’ll share the correct return address in our reply email along with packing instructions. Unapproved returns will be refused.
